Megaman Legends 3 Still In Development. Not Greenlit Yet. Noooo!

A few weeks ago, Mega Man Legends 3 Director Masakazu Eguchi revealed that Capcom has not yet fully committed to production of the game. On February 22nd, the team was scheduled for a meeting to determine the fate of this project. In a conversation with Siliconera, Community Manager Seth Killian has offered some updated information:

They were saying like ‘well, we got an extension, so we’re going to keep working on the game.’ Does this mean it’s actually going to be made? Not 100% and that’s true.

With the feedback it got upon its announcement, its crazy to think that this would be the case. Even Inafune thought that this game would see the light of day after announcing it and then leaving Capcom right after. Cancelling this game would be a huge slap in the face for the father of Mega Man. I’ve never seen a Mega Man game that didn’t get released even with some negative feedback prior. I want this game and is one the driving forces for me getting a 3DS. C’mon Capcom, don’t wuss out!

What the hell?!? Do they not realize how many people have been waiting for MML3?? Capcom is usually very good about treating their fans well… ugh, this is ridiculous! We’ve been waiting for this game for ages, they can’t just pull the plug on it!!

ikr? MML is one of my favorite games ever. But apparently There aren’t as much MML fans as we’d like to think there are so that’s probably is whats making Capcom not give any attention to the development for MMl3.

Let’s just hope they get it through their thick heads that there is a fan base in the series and greenlight it.
