Ubisoft joins the ranks of Online Passes

Online passes will consume us all. Ubisoft will soon begin shipping versions of their most popular games with an Online Pass code which will be handled through UPlay.

Called Uplay Passport, it will be required to access “bonus content, exclusive offers, and online multiplayer play”, according to company statements. For players who buy the games used, they will have to purchase the code for around $10. Driver: San Francisco will be the first game to use Uplay Passport.

… We’re doomed.

First of all FUCK EA for their Fight Night Champion! These companies are here for our money, not for our enjoyment and they are straight to the point. Kudos to other companies without online pass, we gamers will support your titles!
